The Local Advisory Council (LAC) for St. Augustine School is a consultative and advisory body to the Bishop and to the Principal.  The purpose and the mission of St. Augustine School is to promote and facilitate Catholic education in the manner of Jesus Christ in the Kalamazoo, Michigan area.  

The LAC  is involved in the long-term planning, school improvement activities and enforcement of policy, both internal and diocesan.   Membership on the Board is open to registered St. Augustine parents, and depends upon election of self-nominated candidates. Membership on the Board is an excellent way of becoming intimately involved in developing the school and fostering growth of the school.
