The St. Augustine Girl Scout Program consists of four graduated group levels depending on academic grade and age of the child. The levels are Daisy for kindergarten, Brownies for first grade through third grade, Junior Girl Scout for fourth grade through sixth grade, and Cadets for seventh and eighth grade.

The Girl Scouts have a duty to serve God and their country, to help people at all times, and to live by the Girl Scouts' law.

The goal of Girl Scouts is for girls to have fun learning new activities and hobbies. The troop also helps develop a sense of responsibility toward providing charitable service for the community. Troop activities include troop meetings, camping, crafts, educational field trips, and community service projects. The positive social atmosphere encourages the girls to try new activities that they may not otherwise attempt. Communication skills and the foundation for a strong self-esteem are usually the outcome of the child' involvement.

Troop Leaders are volunteer parents and the Troop is always welcoming new leaders to fill various positions in a variety of capacities
