St. Augustine School has its own Boy Scouts of America Troop, No. 224. This group follows an active schedule of camping and boating activities, in addition to helping out in various local service projects. Boys learn a variety of skills in this organization and are encouraged to pursue individual advancement through the ranks to Eagle Scout and beyond. The Troop is largely financed by an annual spaghetti dinner in the school gymnasium. Parents of Scouts serve as Troop Leaders, merit badge Counselors and Committee Officers. The Boy Scouts' future is assured by the graduates of the very active Cub Scout Pack 224. This group consists of Tiger, Bobcat, Wolf, Bear and Webelos Dens. Activities include Raingutter Regatta, Pinewood Derby and Space Derby races of craft made by the boys. The Cubs also go on field trips and attend summer camp. Their activities are partially funded by their annual Popcorn Sale.

Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts are encouraged to strengthen their faith by pursuing their respective Religious Emblems, Ad Altare Dei and Parvuli Dei.
